Question about duties and tarrifs:

I live in the US. Will I have to pay duty for my personal use cabin?

Answer
As of today, if you are using the cabin for your personal use, ie not selling them, you do not have to pay duty.

Did you know that all of the cabins kits, etc that we have shipped to the US to date only have a $5.00US charge to bring into your country? Yes. It is called a personal importation and it only requires that you fill out a simple form of what you are bringing over the border. We can help you with this and any other necessary paperwork. Depending on the situation, there can also be a brokerage fee which usually amounts to no more than about $80-$200 US depending on the value of the shipment. Most of the time, it's under $100.00.
